We, the Sauper family, are delighted to welcome you to one of the most beautiful places in Austria! Since 1906, we have owned and operated the restaurant at the Kaiser Franz-Josef-Höhe as a family business.
This viewpoint at the foot of Austria’s highest mountain is accessible via the Grossglockner High Alpine Road from May through October. The historic pass road leading to us is considered one of the most beautiful scenic routes in the world.

Upon request, we’d be happy to add another appetizer course to your menu. Our suggestions:
Mountaineer salad, ham roll, chicken salad, or the Großglockner appetizer platter. Surcharge: €8.70 per person.
If you’d like your group to have a choice of 3 main courses, we charge €5 per person to cover the additional effort.
Our menus can, of course, be complemented with a drink. Our beverage package includes one drink of your choice per person. (Tea, coffee, soda, 0.25 L, Vienna 0.2 L, or beer 0.33 L) Surcharxge for our beverage package: €4.70 per person
